Use Case Implementation Steps

Implementation Stage 1: Designing the Document

Description:
Prepare a design document outlining the plan to validate and clean specific fields in the Accounts Module. This includes identifying required fields, invalid or incomplete data entries, and defining metrics to visualize in the dashboard.

Input:

     CRM data in the Accounts Module

     Business rules or standards for clean, valid account data

     Key fields to validate (e.g., Account Name, Industry, Email, Phone)

Output:

     A structured design document with:

      o Dashboard name

      o Description

      o List of components to be added

      o Fields to be validated

      o Filters and sorting logic

 

 

 

 

Implementation Stage 2: Create the Dashboard in Zoho CRM

Steps:

  1. Login to Zoho CRM.

  2. Go to the Dashboards Module.

  3. Click on “+” to create a new dashboard.

  4. Provide a suitable name (e.g., Account Data Validation Dashboard).

  5. Add a brief description for the dashboard.

  6. Click Save to create the dashboard.

 

 

Implementation Stage 3: Add Components to Dashboard

Steps:

  1. Click “Add Components”.

  2. Select Charts choose Quick Charts.

  3. Fill out the following details:

    1. o Component Name (e.g., Incomplete Accounts by Industry)

      o Module: Accounts

      o Measure: Choose relevant field (e.g., Count of Records)

      o Grouping: Choose field (e.g., Industry, State)

  4. Add criteria filters (e.g., Email is Empty, Phone is Invalid).

  5. Click on More Options:

    1. o Sort By: Value – Descending

      o Max Grouping: Set to 75

  6. Choose an appropriate chart type (e.g., Table Chart, Bar Chart)

  7. Click Done to add the component.

  8. Repeat the steps to add the remaining components.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Implementation Stage 4: Reorder/Resize Components

Steps:

  1. Hover over the component.

  2. Click the three dots next to "Add Component".

  3. Use “Reorder” to adjust position or size as needed.

  4. Rearrange components to improve readability and visual structure.

  • A live dashboard titled “Account Data Validation Dashboard”

  • Visual components showing invalid or missing account data

  • Interactive view for CRM users to take cleanup actions
