Canvas Template Creation Process:
Log into CRM Demo Account(https://www.zoho.com/)
Go to Menu and click CRM
Click settings icon in the CRM page
Click Canvas under Customization
Click on Detail view
Click on Create Record Detail Page button
Select the module as Cases and click on create button. (The canvas is limited to create only 5 templates for Detail view)
Click on Create Blank Template Button
The Blank template page will open and enter a canvas name in the highlighted box.
Go to Elements and Drag and drop the options you want
Go to Data and Drag and Drop the required fields in the section
If you want to hide the label associated with subject (for all fields), right click and click on hide label
Go to Style and change the colour, font, border and radius whichever is required
To use the predefined patterns of any element (Eg. Edit button), click on Edit and select Presets
Select Gallery and select the format you wanted
To align Buttons, select them and go to style and select the alignment you wanted.
How to add Tab?
Go to Element and select tab
Click on the + icon and select the topic you wanted
It will be displayed with the fields which are predefined.
To remove the unwanted tab section (Eg: Unnamed Tab), select that tab and click “x”.
How to add Custom tab?
Click on + icon and select New Custom Tab
Select the tab and edit the tab name under style
Select the tab section and right click and click on insert, add the fields required.
To change the tab alignment, select the tab and go to Tab orientation under style, select the one you wanted.
How to add Sub Tab?
To abb sub tab, click on + icon and select Sub Tab.
Click on Sub tab and edit the name under style
Click on arrow and click on Blue + icon and insert the tab wanted.
To Change the colour of the tab, go to Tab Item under style and change the colour, font, shape accordingly.
Add the necessary data and save it.
Validation Steps:
Go to the CRM website and click on three dots and click on Cases.
Click on any one of the Cases.
The Case detail page will load in Standard view.
Scroll down to the bottom, Go to Record detail page views and select the template you have created
Check the Case page is loaded as per the template
