Contact Mapping Module-CRM

     Outcome:

The outcome of this use case is mapping contacts within Zoho CRM. 

     Use case Implementation Steps:

Implementation Stage 1: Importing Contacts from local drive

  1. Log in to Zoho CRM website with Administrator privilege.

  2. Go to Contacts > Import Contacts > Browse.

 

         

 

 

Implementation Stage 2: Layout and Field Customization

Description: Select the appropriate import settings to ensure accurate record handling during the contact import process.

Input Options:

     Select “Add as New Contacts” if the records being imported do not already exist in the system.

     Choose “Update Existing Contacts Only” if the contact records are already present and just need to be updated.

     If you're unsure whether the contacts exist, select “Both” to allow the system to handle both new entries and updates.

     Use the Email field as the primary identifier to detect and match existing contacts.

 

               

 

Implementation Stage 3: Validations

Description: Ensure that each field from the imported file is accurately mapped to its corresponding field in Zoho CRM to maintain data integrity.

Input:

     Review the sample data to verify that field mappings are correct and aligned with CRM structure.

Output:

     A confirmation message indicating that the validation and import settings have been successfully applied.

 

 

 

Implementation Stage 4: Module Testing

Description: Verify that all contact details are correctly mapped by thoroughly testing each field. This includes checking the custom layout, field configurations, permissions, and other related settings.

Input:

     Review and validate the entered data.

     Make necessary adjustments to the configuration settings, if required.

Output:

     Any issues found during testing are documented for further investigation and resolution.

It keeps the contact details updated, ensuring accurate data, which helps in creating reliable reports and making better decisions.
